Russia has intensified the use of submarine missile carriers 'Kalibr' in the Black Sea.

Russia is increasingly using 'Kalibr' missiles for attacks on Ukraine, especially in the waters of the Black Sea. According to the representative of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, Russian submarine missile carriers have become more active, and half of the eight carriers can launch them underwater.
'They are currently mostly using submarine missile carriers, as this allows them to operate more safely in the waters of the Black Sea,' Pletenchuk explained.
In the past month, 'Kalibr' missiles have been used three times, indicating an increase in Russia's activity. This may be an attempt to compensate for losses from attacks on aerial targets and to be more cautious in the Black Sea.
'The likelihood of using 'Kalibrs' remains high, so we are constantly monitoring the situation in the Black and Azov Seas,' Pletenchuk emphasized.
The increase in the use of submarine 'Kalibr' missiles indicates that the Russian military is seeking new ways to strike Ukrainian targets amid intensified defensive actions. This reflects the complexity of the situation and the need for Ukraine to strengthen its countermeasures.
Ukrainian official sources reported an increase in Russia's activity in using 'Kalibr' missiles to strike against Ukraine. Russian submarine missile carriers are increasingly resorting to such tactics, which requires Ukraine to strengthen countermeasures. The most approximate area for such actions is becoming the waters of the Black Sea.
