Training 'Sea Breeze 2025': what tasks for Ukrainian ships.


The Ukrainian Navy is actively participating in the 'Sea Breeze 2025' exercises, where the main focus is on mine action in the maritime area. According to the spokesperson of the Naval Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, Ukrainian ships are practicing the search and removal of explosive objects, using both standard equipment of mine warfare vessels and special units.
'We are practicing mine action, which involves the search and removal of explosive objects. For this, we use both the equipment that our mine warfare vessels are equipped with and special units,' Pletenchuk noted.
The skills acquired have practical applications in the operation of the Ukrainian grain corridor. The special units participating in the exercises are engaged in daily demining of the waters of Ukraine’s territorial sea. Four mine warfare vessels are participating in the 'Sea Breeze 2025' exercises, including two of the Alkmaar class and two of the Sandown class.
Ukrainian military sailors participated in the 'Sea Breeze 2025' military exercises, which are aimed at practicing mine action in the maritime area. The skills gained will help maintain security in the Ukrainian sea and ensure the functioning of the country's grain corridor.
