The GUR refuted the enemy's fakes about prisoner exchanges.

Russian prisoners of war are not a fiction, but a real situation. After the exchange in Ukraine '1000 for 1000', some Russian soldiers remained in captivity.
This is simply a lie. A lie that is spread to create chaos, outrage among Ukrainians and to exacerbate 'patriotic' sentiments in Russia.
A representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense emphasized that the number of Ukrainian prisoners in Russia is significantly less than the number of Russians in captivity in Ukraine.
Despite attempts to manipulate the facts, the exchange of prisoners of war continues. Ukraine is actively working to increase the fund for exchanges in order to return Russian occupiers to their territory.
Ukraine continues the process of exchanging prisoners of war with Russia, trying to return its citizens and combat manipulations regarding the number of captives in the war in Donbas.
