Ukrainians are actively purchasing real estate in Poland
Ukrainians are making significant purchases of real estate in the Polish market. Often, they do this in cash, reports Legaartis.pl.
According to the Tabelaofert Nieruchomości portal, in 2024, foreigners concluded a record number of real estate transactions in Poland - 17,330 apartments and commercial spaces. Ukrainians are the leaders in the volume of purchases, having acquired about 380,000 square meters of living space. Other countries that actively bought real estate in Poland include Belarus, Russia, India, Great Britain, and Vietnam.
Ewa Palus: 'Ukrainians are the clear leaders and have acquired about 380,000 square meters of living space.'
The majority of transactions were concluded in cities such as Warsaw, Kraków, and Wrocław. Many foreigners also took advantage of government subsidies, notably the 'Safe Credit 2 Percent' program.
The interest in the Polish real estate market from Ukrainians is expected to grow. However, experts warn that before making significant investments, one should analyze the market and risks, as competition in many sectors is very high.
