Ukrainians explained what electricity rates to expect from September 1.

Ukrainian households are concerned about the new electricity prices that may lead to an increase in utility costs. Currently, the cost of one kilowatt-hour is 4.32 UAH and this rate will be in effect until the end of October. Some categories of consumers who use electricity for heating have a reduced rate during the heating season.
To obtain this benefit, it is necessary to have housing officially disconnected from central heating and to receive the appropriate documents from local authorities or a disconnection act. The application for the preferential rate for residents of apartment buildings is handled by housing associations or management companies, which require passport details and property information to provide benefits.
Forecasts regarding tariffs
Experts emphasize that there is no expected increase in electricity tariffs for the population from September 1. If any changes to the tariffs are made after October, they will take effect after the end of the heating season.
I have not heard of this, and my sources in the Ministry of Energy also do not confirm it. I think that electricity rates will not change from September 1
The increase in electricity prices in Ukraine is causing outrage among the population, but experts believe that new rates will not be introduced until the end of the heating season. The importance of correctly obtaining benefits for those who use electricity for heating is also emphasized.
