Ukraine will play home matches of the pre-qualification for the World Basketball Championship in Riga.

In the first month of summer, the Ukrainian national basketball team participated in the pre-qualification matches for the World Championship-2027. Our team played in Group A along with the national teams of Slovakia and Switzerland, where the two best teams will continue their fight in the next qualifying stage.

Match schedule in Group A:

August 6 - game against Switzerland away August 9 - game against Slovakia, effectively at home August 16 - game against Switzerland, effectively at home August 20 - game against Slovakia away

The first stage of the main qualification will start in November 2025, and the winners of the pre-qualification will have the chance to join the participants of EuroBasket-2025.
