UEFA disqualified referees who drunkenly stole a road sign before the 'Dynamo' game.

Polish referees Bartosz Frankowski and Tomasz Musiał were disqualified by UEFA due to their indecent behavior. They were detained by the police before the match between 'Dynamo' and 'Rangers' for stealing a road sign. During the detention, Frankowski had 1.7 promille of alcohol in his blood, and Musiał had about 1.8 promille. Both referees were removed from the 'Dynamo' game and fined. Subsequently, UEFA accused them of violating the rules of proper conduct and banned them from participating in competitions until 2025.
The French Minister of Sport, Gilles Avrou, expressed indignation over homophobic statements and fan behavior in stadiums. He called for strict punishment of football clubs for such manifestations. Avrou emphasized that homophobia in stadiums can no longer be acceptable, and sport must convey the values of humanity, freedom, equality, and fraternity. He also warned of possible severe consequences for clubs whose fans display unworthy behavior.
The coach of the Austrian national team, Ralf Rangnick, excluded three players from the team due to their participation in homophobic chants at a 'Rapid' vs 'Austria' club match. Videos of such chants appeared online after 'Rapid's win. Rangnick stated that he would not tolerate such behavior in the team and hopes the players will understand how offensive and discriminatory they can be to people. Grüll, Burgstaller, and Hedl were also suspended for several rounds of the Austrian Bundesliga.
Additionally, 'Rapid' managing director Steffen Hofmann and assistant head coach Stefan Kulovits were temporarily suspended from their positions due to the incident with homophobic acts.
