A fire broke out in a high-rise building in Ternopil due to an explosion: a woman died.


On the evening of June 9, an explosion occurred in one of the high-rise buildings in Ternopil, resulting in a fire that claimed the life of a woman. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the State Emergency Service.
According to the information, at approximately 19:00 on Kryvonosa Street, an explosion was heard in a four-story apartment building. The fire began to spread throughout the apartment and quickly engulfed neighboring rooms. Firefighters managed to extinguish the flames within 24 minutes.
It was reported that a woman died as a result of the fire, and a man who was in the apartment was taken to the hospital with injuries. The causes of the explosion remain unknown, and law enforcement agencies are investigating.
