A soldier in Odesa received a sentence as a traitor.

A Ukrainian serviceman was sentenced to 15 years in prison for treason. The court established that the man was passing confidential information to the Russian intelligence via Telegram, including data about the Armed Forces of Ukraine's military operations and the whereabouts of military personnel.
He provided information about the activities of the military unit, special operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and also about the resistance in the occupied territories. The man also disclosed the whereabouts of military personnel.
During the trial, the defendant admitted his guilt and expressed sincere remorse for his actions. He had previously also passed information about the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the Russians, so he is now included in the lists of enemy prisoners of war for transfer to the aggressor state.
