Lviv recorded the lowest temperature in 51 years.

This temperature figure set a new record, exceeding the previous minimum for this date, which had stood since 1974 at +8.1°C. Thus, the night of July 5 became the coldest in the last 51 years in Lviv.
Today, July 5, variable cloudiness is expected in Ukraine, with brief intermittent rains in some regions. This is reported by 'Gromadske' based on data from the 'Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center'.
In the northern and central regions, brief rains, thunderstorms, the possibility of hail, and wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are forecasted. Night temperatures will range from 13 to 18°C, while cooler temperatures of 9-14°C are expected in the west. During the day, temperatures will rise to 23-28°C, with night temperatures in the south ranging from 16 to 21°C and 28-33°C during the day.
The wind will predominantly be north-western at a speed of 7-12 m/s.
In Lviv, where the record low night temperature was recorded, and throughout Ukraine, variable weather with brief rains and thunderstorms is expected in the central regions. Some regions of the country are also anticipating high daytime temperatures.
