At Disneyland in Paris, a thrilling arrest of fraudsters took place who set up a 'wedding' for a child. The criminals, among whom were a Brit and a mother from Ukraine, along with citizens of Latvia, were accused of fraud and money laundering.
The prosecutor's office reported that the 'wedding' turned out to be a staged performance involving hundreds of actor-guests. All medical tests on the child confirmed the absence of any signs of violence or malicious actions.
One of the arrested claimed that it was all just filming for a movie, not a real wedding. At the park, it was initially thought to be just part of the entertainment for guests, but after discovering the real age of the bride, everyone was shocked.
The Disneyland administration confirmed that the rental of the park for that day was canceled, and a statement was submitted to law enforcement authorities.
