The Security Service of Ukraine exposed a group of Russian agents who were correcting the shelling of Odesa.


The Security Service of Ukraine identified and detained two agents of the Russian military intelligence in Odesa. They were working on adjusting strikes on military targets in southern Ukraine. This information was disclosed by the press service of the SBU based on data from the 'Glavkom' portal.
According to the case details, the agents were a rehabilitation doctor and a former employee of 'Ukrzaliznytsia', who were ordered by Russian curators to find military objects in southern Ukraine. Their tasks included providing information on the combat positions of Ukrainian forces defending Odesa and the Black Sea, as well as identifying routes and geolocation of military trains.
The agents were apprehended during operations to secure the locations of Ukrainian forces. They have been charged under the Criminal Code of Ukraine and remain in custody without the right to bail. They may face life imprisonment with property confiscation.
The Ukrainian Security Service continues to fight against espionage and Russian aggression on the territory of the country, ensuring the safety of the Ukrainian people and military facilities.
