Fraudsters Have Found a New Way to Access Ukrainians' Accounts via SMS.

The Center for Countering Disinformation reports that a new fraudulent scheme is spreading among Ukrainians. Fraudsters send SMS messages with the text 'You are registered for an appointment', hoping that people will follow the link, which is dangerous.
The peculiarity of this scheme is that there is no specific information about the appointment. This is done to increase the curiosity of the recipients who wish to learn the details and, as a result, click on the link in the message.
'If you follow such a link, the perpetrators can gain access to all your personal information on the phone, including photos, passwords, and banking applications,' warns cybersecurity experts.
The Center for Countering Disinformation emphasizes the importance of adhering to digital security rules and recommends not to click on suspicious links in SMS from unknown senders, not to enter personal data on unknown websites, and to block numbers from which such messages are received.
Experts have also explained how to protect against hacking on Telegram.
