Russia is attempting to land troops in southern Ukraine - details.

Russian troops have begun to intensify assaults in the Dnipro region, increasing their frequency from 2-3 per day to over ten. They are using drones to deliver ammunition, food, and weapons to the islands, after which they try to land assault groups. Not only military targets but also civilians are coming under fire.
Spokesman for the Operational Command 'South' Vladyslav Voloshyn reported: 'In the last week, the enemy has tripled the number of attacks on the islands. They are trying to gain control over certain sectors and hold them.'
Currently, Ukrainian troops are holding their positions, but the situation in the south remains tense. The Russians are conducting unsuccessful attacks around the islands and on the right bank, directing strikes at civilian infrastructure and the population with the aim of destruction. Ukrainian troops are defending their positions and remain on guard.
