A Polish journalist has died in a battle with Russian troops
Ukraine has lost another ally in the fight against Russian aggression. 45-year-old Polish journalist Krzysztof Gorzelak was injured in the war and died. This sad news was announced on a satirical Facebook page that has a large number of his countrymen and supporters.
Gorzelak founded a popular local portal in Kielce and decided to join the Ukrainian army two years ago to help defend the country from Russian invaders. The late journalist is remembered by his family as an extremely patient and curious professional.
Gorzelak will be buried in Ukraine, where he bravely defended peace and freedom. His relatives in Poland are deeply mourning the loss of a loved one who chose to go to the front shortly after an unjust court ruling that shocked him.

Quote: 'Krzysztof was unfairly accused by people who wanted to destroy him. He was a very patient and inquisitive journalist' - said Kielce city councilor Maciej Bursztyn.
Ukrainian army losses in the war
In addition, officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Nazar Malik and famous choreographer Viktor Voitnikov have also been killed in the war. These tragic events remind us of the high price we pay for freedom and independence.
It is difficult to cope with the losses of such prominent individuals as Krzysztof Gorzelak and to understand that the war continues to take the lives of innocent people. Their sacrifices serve as a reminder of the significant cost of freedom and peace.
