Russia attacked Ukraine using drones and missiles

During the night of June 17, the Russian Federation carried out an attack on Ukraine using drones and missiles. The Ukrainian military destroyed 428 enemy targets.

• A total of 440 strike drones of the Shahed type and drone imitators were launched.
• Also used were the K-47M2 'Kinzhal' ballistic missiles, X-101 cruise missiles, 'Kalibr' missiles, and other means.
• The air defense successfully blocked most of the aerial attack means.

Attack on Kyiv and consequences

The main target of the attack was Kyiv. 10 hits and the fall of debris were recorded in 34 different locations. The air defense shot down 262 enemy missiles and drones.

• 15 Shahed drones, two K-47M2 'Kinzhal' missiles, and other equipment were destroyed.
• As a result of the attack, 15 people died, more than a hundred were injured.

After the shelling in Kyiv, rescue services are working to provide assistance to residents whose homes are damaged. Medical and humanitarian services are helping the victims.
