Summer without hot water: Popenko warns of danger, utility workers responded.

Kievenergo denies the hot water shutdown in summer
The municipal enterprise 'Kievenergo' officially denies information about the cessation of hot water supply in the capital during the summer period, calling such statements unreliable. Head of the Union of Consumers of Utility Services Oleg Popenko claims that centralized hot water supply in summer is not sustainable.
'Don't expect, Kiev residents, gas, don't expect hot water - it won't be there. This is because 'Kievenergo' doesn't want to spend gas, doesn't want to pay for it, because, frankly, they don't care about the residents.'
According to Popenko, producing hot water in summer requires a large amount of gas, complicating the economic situation for the city's population.
Lack of hot water in summer - a myth?
Experts state that the practice of shutting off hot water in summer has long been used by heating companies as a pretext for repairs and maintenance of systems. However, 'Kievenergo' asserts that hot water will be available in standard mode throughout the summer, except for emergencies or scheduled maintenance.
The company's message states that emergency situations with hot water are resolved within a day, and scheduled works are carried out to ensure uninterrupted water supply in winter.
Utility workers urge not to spread false information regarding the lack of hot water due to economic or technical reasons. They emphasize that they are taking necessary measures to maintain the operation of the water supply system.
