Democracy Under Threat: Schumer Accuses Trump of Constitutional Crisis in the U.S.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer stated that democracy in the United States is under threat and called President Trump an 'unlawful, evil man' during an interview on NBC. He claims that the country is experiencing a constitutional crisis and emphasizes that Trump sees himself as a king who can break the laws and demands that judges listen to him.
Schumer talks about Trump's attacks on U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, who issued a ruling against the Trump administration. Afterward, Trump called for the impeachment of the judge. Schumer says they need to fight against this disregard for judicial orders to protect democracy. He expresses distrust towards Trump regarding his commitment to respect judicial decisions.
The criticism of Trump's calls for the impeachment of Boasberg has been harsh, with even Chief Justice John Roberts stating that impeachment is not the answer to disagreement with a court ruling. Nevertheless, Trump continues to criticize nationwide judicial bans and urges the Supreme Court to intervene.
