Most Americans want the White House to support Ukraine - Senator.


New York State Senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal believes that the White House's policy on supporting Ukraine does not satisfy most Americans.
He expressed his opinion during a rally in support of Ukraine that took place in Manhattan near St. Vladimir's Cathedral.
'What we see in the White House is the opposite of what I believe most Americans would like to see regarding support for Ukraine,' said Hoylman-Sigal.
In response to a question about Republican opinions on Washington's policy towards Ukraine, the senator noted that they, like the Democrats, do not support this policy.
'This is New York State, and they don’t agree with it,' said Hoylman-Sigal. - 'Because that’s how the residents of New York feel.' He also expressed his disgust at Trump's actions, which he believes undermined the self-determination of the Ukrainian people, emphasizing that Trump speaks for himself and not for the majority of Americans.
Hoylman-Sigal emphasized that most Americans recognize Ukraine as a 'bastion of faith, religious freedom, freedom of speech, and human rights' and an important partner for America in Europe.
'We stand against Russia,' he added. - 'I think Republicans and Democrats are scared because of Trump and Vance.'
According to a survey conducted by Quinnipiac University, 55% of Americans disagree with Trump's approach to the Russian-Ukrainian war, while 38% support it.
