Ukrainians have been informed about the necessity of timely actions in Poland by the end of April 2025. Specifically, they need to apply for the child benefit 800+ and submit the PIT tax declaration for the last year. Payments for this benefit will start on June 1, 2025, so to avoid delays, it is essential to submit the application by April 30. If the application is submitted later, payments may be delayed or lost.For recipients of the 800+ benefit, there will be an opportunity to apply to ZUS for a new payment period starting from February 1, 2025. If there are errors in the online application, ZUS will contact you within 14 days and inform you about the necessary changes. Additionally, if documents are missing, ZUS will provide 14-30 days for submission.We remind you that there is no need for a high income level to receive the 800+ benefit. Foreigners with a residence permit in Poland can also receive this benefit if their children live with them. Information about the benefit assignment will be sent by email.Regarding the PIT tax declaration for the year 2024, the deadline for submission is April 30, 2025. Failing to submit the declaration may have consequences, and fines will be imposed on violators. For those submitting the declaration for the first Time, it is important to understand that they need to send it independently.Moreover, there is a program in Poland called 'Prevention 40+', which offers the opportunity to undergo free medical examinations for early detection of diseases. We also remind you that by April 30, 2025, the dog maintenance tax must be paid.
