Will the Verkhovna Rada reduce fines for data non-updating? Bill approved.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses regarding mobilization
In the first reading, the Verkhovna Rada adopted changes to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, related to mobilization. According to the new amendments, those liable for military service who have not updated their personal data can do so through the 'Reserve+' platform and pay half of the fine amount.
Draft law No. 12093, supported by 231 deputies, provides for the possibility for those liable for military service to independently update their data by contacting the Territorial Military Commissariat and the Recruitment Office. At the same Time, non-updating of data is classified as an administrative offense and entails a fine from 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias.
In 2024, over 6 million military liable citizens have not updated their data. The Unified State Register of Conscripts, those liable for military service, and reservists does not contain complete information regarding personal data, complicating the mobilization processes in the country.
End of reservation for those liable for military service
On February 28, all those liable for military service will end their reservation. If an enterprise loses its critical status or does not meet its criteria, the employees of that enterprise who are reserved will also lose their reservation.
Member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence Oleksandr Fediienko emphasizes that this happens because enterprises that lose their critical status no longer need to reserve employees to meet military needs.
